Stopped in to have lunch after some shopping. Greeted by a friendly and efficient staff member who brought us to a table. It was Thursday but the place was busy. The server was personable and service oriented. The menu has good variety and there were five lunch specials. Looking around at other diners plates, the food was good. We had the fish and chips and the chicken club sandwich with a Greek salad. Servings sized were generous and the food very tasty. The place has a good vibe and is very welcoming. All in all a great culinary and service experience.

Terrific experience at the Walker House during our trip to Southampton. Huge restaurant with a very nice patio that still felt friendly and intimate. The food was very good (the best mussels I've had in ages) with some interesting but delicious items (smoked trout on rye toast with dill cream cheese). Special thanks to house manager Jessica, who made our visits special!

Lunch at Walker House was incredibly fresh, local, and sooo delicious. I ordered the oh so garlicky Cesare Salad and it was yummy beyond words. The croutons were clearly made and the perfect crunch factor for this beautiful salad. For my lunch main, I enjoyed the chicken parm with a creamy garlic white sauce over fettuccine and, again, magnificent! Thank you Walker House for a great lunch experience. I'll be back! Cheers, Spicy Jan

AMAZING! I’m from Toronto visiting the Owensound area and we decided to stop here for a bite while doing some antique shopping. WOW! The ravioli, crabcakes, halloumi cheese appetizer and the creme brulee are absolutely to die for. Not only is it affordable. It’s also high quality ingredients and it shows. Even the presentation of how the food is it screams upscale restaurant experience. The servers are very polite and it’s a quiet, clean atmosphere.

We had a great time here. Polite and quick service, with just enough check-ins. The food portions are huge, so no worries if you're extra hungry. Everything was cooked to perfection, salt was not overused and everything was very flavourful. Lots of beer and cocktail options, we enjoyed a local beer. Desserts looked delicious, we tried the Creme Brule which was delicious . Update in August 2024: we came and we had dinner on the patio and it was perfect. Lots of room, big' tables and lots of shade. Bon appetit

Lauren and the entire staff at The Walker House made the Rehearsal Dinner for our son and daughter (in law) seamless and beautiful. The communication was fantastic and Lauren saw my vision right away. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! From the prime rib to the chicken and salmon, every single plate was cooked and served to perfection. The garden salads were fresh, delicious and beautifully presented and the various desserts were a decadent finish to our evening. We WILL be dining there again and I will recommend TWH to everyone who asks. BRAVO TWH!

Love stopping by the Iconic Walker House. Loaded with history and charm. Back patio is a Wonderful place to enjoy drinks and great food. Shade trees and Edison string lights offer a quintessential summer vibe. Food is always delicious. Best to make reservations for supper.

Went out for a birthday dinner and had a great meal!! Always good options on the menu! UPDATE: went out for father's day dinner, had a reservation in the Chantry room that I made roughly a week early and when we arrived were told they didn't have a table in that room for us, which doesn't bother me but my parents have a hard time hearing in the other rooms which is why we requested the Chantry room specifically as it's not as loud. Meal was delicious even with that small inconvenience
